Hands on Practical Training

Assess withdrawal pattern and treat & refer based on client needs.  Recognize various stages of addiction; chemical and/or behavioral dependency (detox, post-acute withdrawal, stabilization, advanced recovery); pharmacology of different substances, and their impact on zang fu and shen.

Learn how to work within chemical dependency and mental health venues & understand when & how disorders are best treated in private practice vs. public health settings.

This seminar may be used as part of your Acu-Detox/NADA certificate

You can work with the instructor to obtain a NADA certificate with additional distance CEUs (additional fee applies) and clinical rotation hours, which require instructor authorization.  Qualify to supervise acu-detox programs in NY.
